Donaldson’s have been caring for horses in and around Huddersfield for over 100 years. Our equine team offer an ambulatory service for both routine and non-routine care. We provide our own 24-hour emergency service so if the worst should happen, you can be confident that your horse will be cared for by a familiar face.
In early 2023 we were delighted to open our Equine unit at Woodnook, Honley. This facility allows us to carry out treatments and procedures that may not always be able to be carried out at the patient’s home yard. Having use of the arena at Woodnook allows us to carry out thorough lameness work-ups.

We offer a free visit fee where there are 4 or more horses to see at any one time. This is great for routine treatment such as vaccinations, health checks, routine dentistry, blood tests and medication reviews. To book or add onto a yard visit, please get in touch.
